Victory Inspections is a central New York small business specializing in home inspections and radon testing. Hi there, I'm Victor Cosme, and I would love to be your future home inspector. My passion has always been in carpentry and residential home construction. A home is so much more than four walls and a roof. It is a vast web of interdependent parts and systems. Simply put, it is so much more than what meets the eye.

 

I have always loved and tried to learn everything possible regarding homes and the systems within. I graduated from O.C.M. Boces construction technology course, where we built from top to bottom a modular home. While at Boces, I also passed the N.O.C.T.I. exam. N.O.C.T.I. is the largest provider of industry-based credentials for career and technical education programs nationwide. I am very proud of passing this exam and course, as it tested my ability and knowledge of all aspects of a home—everything from electrical, plumbing, structure, and HVAC systems.

 

I graduated from C.A.T.S. Home inspection school and passed my New York state exam. I passed all five modules at C.A.T.S. and am now a licensed New York State inspector. My N.Y.S. license number is 16000075366 

 

I am a proud member of InterNACHI, and I passed their certified home inspector course. I now carry the title of being a certified professional inspector. InterNACHI is a home inspector organization that provides degree and certificate programs and accredited continuing education. As an InterNACHI member, I follow a comprehensive standard of practice, and I am bound by a strict code of ethics. I continue taking courses and expanding my knowledge in residential and commercial inspection. I complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education every two years.

Victory Inspections is proud to announce that, as of 2021, we are a verified N.Y.S. radon testing laboratory. Our Lab ID number is 12147. This means we can now do radon testing with our own equipment, thus saving time in gathering results. Gone are the days of mailing radon samples to an out-of-state facility and waiting for results. This now saves days of waiting for results to come in! Few inspectors in our area have this capability. We are very proud of it as we went through an extremely thorough process, working alongside the New York State Department of Health (E.L.A.P.) and passing a radon data testing and collecting course.

 

I am also a proud affiliate member of the G.S.A.R.! The Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors is an organization that all Central New York real estate agents belong to. I am a business affiliate, allowing me access to all Supra lock boxes. If you are out of town or can not make it to the inspection, I will still be able to let myself in and complete the inspection.
